1. Seed Fundraising and Partnerships Manager (paid, Melbourne based)

We’re looking for an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander young person who is passionate about fundraising and building partnerships to ensure that we are able to continue having an impact through our work protecting country and building the capacity of young mob to take action. You’ll be joining a deadly team of Seed staff and volunteers working together across the country to protect our land, culture and future from the causes and impacts of climate change. 2. Seed Community Organiser - 6 month Maternity leave cover (paid, location negotiable)

Whilst the campaign to ban fracking in the Northern Territory heats up & while our volunteer network continues to grow, the next 6 months are critical in having a strong team of staff supporting Seed mob across the country. We’re looking for an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander young person who is passionate about protecting country from the causes and impacts of climate change and building the power of young people to take action to join our staff team for the next 6 months.

Volunteer Positions 

We are currently looking for young blackfullas to join our team of passionate and committed volunteers who lead the Seed Indigenous Youth Climate Network. Applications for vacant Seed State and Regional Coordinators positions are open and will be assessed on a rolling basis.

TITLE: Seed State and Regional Coordinators  

Locations: Seed is a national grassroots network coordinated through regional groups across the country. Regions work together to implement our campaigns and reach young mob right across the country. We currently have Coordinator positions vacant in the following locations: 

  • Queensland: South East Queensland, Central Queensland & North Queensland

  • Torres Strait Islands: (Location Negotiable)

  • New South Wales: Sydney, South/Central/North Coast

  • Australian Capital Territory: Canberra

  • South Australia: Adelaide (Location Negotiable)

  • Western Australia: Perth (Location Negotiable)

  • Northern Territory: Central & Darwin

  • Tasmania: Northern Region (Location Negotiable)

  • Victoria: Melbourne (Location Negotiable) 

Time commitment: 1-3 days/week (negotiable) 
Responsible to: Seed state mentor (one of our staff)
Salary: This is a volunteer role. Reimbursement is available for associated expenses like phone and travel costs are covered by Seed.
